Chorlton Ees is a woodland area, perfect for a peaceful stroll through nature. With a network of winding paths, ponds, meadows, and woodlands, it’s a good place to escape the city and enjoy some fresh air. There’s free parking at Turn Moss Playing Fields, making access easy.

The area has an interesting history, once being lowland farmland before becoming part of Withington Sewage Works and landfill. Thankfully, it was reclaimed and is now a thriving local nature reserve, home to wildlife and a great spot for walking, birdwatching, or just unwinding.
